A sailing ship with history. In 1899 Johanna Christina was launched. At that time with only one mast and 24 meters long. At that time the ship was carrying cargo through the Dutch inland waters. First under sail, later with engine. The ship has been extended twice to its present 36 meters.

In 1990, the ship was converted into a modern, comfortable and sporty passenger sailing ship. His name has been changed to ACTIEF, keeping alive the memory of his active story.

The ACTIEF is spacious and comfortably equipped with all amenities, both for children and adults.

Your friendly and dedicated host and skipper at Actief is: Arnoud. He has a lot of experience and has been sailing since his youth. He will be happy to tell you all about sailing on the ACTIEF. On routes, in principle, anything is possible, of course, depending on the wind and tides and in consultation with the skipper.
