Ship Description
The CONFIANCE was built in 1901 in Martenshoek as a sailing cargo ship. After being converted to a motor ship in the fifties and used as such, she got a mast in the late nineties and has been living in Harlingen ever since.
Only a few years ago, the CONFIANCE was converted into a passenger ship and therefore impresses with a well-kept, modern facility. In particular, the long table in the day room paired with the open kitchen are inviting for beautiful group travel and are ideal for cooking together in the group, if no chef is booked.
The spacious cabins leave nothing to be desired.
Hardly any captain knows his driving area as well as Jan-Willem. Not only that, the ship has more than earned the name Confiance (French for trust).
