Ship description

The "JANTJE" was launched in 1930 as a trawler "Ennie en Appie". Until 1969 she was active in the fishery, before she was rebuilt in 1977 for the first time to a passenger sailing ship. It was placed on a very impressive traditional rigging. That is why the "JANTJE" still represents a real splendor with sails set. Especially the square sails, which are no longer seen today, are reminiscent of the time of the explorers.

The "JANTJE" is the "good-mood ship" of the fleet. This is not least the responsibility of the well-placed crew, who are happy to help with the sailing maneuvers. Courageous guests may climb onto the mast secured with safety harness to enjoy the view from above. Those who prefer to enjoy the sailing day in a relaxed manner can do so in one of the beanbags on deck.

Even below deck, the cozy day room with integrated galley invites to convivial evening laps.

In the summer months the "JANTJE" sails special trips for single travelers.
