In 1947 the ship was built. By means of two conversions in 1991 and 1994 did the "Meander" get its present look. Due to its technical and constructional design the 2-masted staysail schooner has the "World-wide Ride" certificate. This ship offers a very spacious layout on and below deck. There is a large lounge with a fully furnished galley and a small separate room - the ship's library.
In the years 2007-2008, the Meander received another conversion, which made the ship even more comfortable. There are now 6 twin cabins for overnight stays to choose from. One of the cabins is a honeymoon suite. It has a double bed and a separate shower and toilet.
