Noordfries

The Noordfries is a speedy “Oostzee-tjalk”, built in 1896. This former freight ship has been converted into a comfortable recreational ship with room for a maximum of 20 guests.

In addition to the comfortable saloon, the Noordfries has four 2-bed cabins and three 4- bed cabins.

The spacious kitchen has every convenience and is fully equipped to cater for large groups. There are two modern toilets and two spacious showers on board. Below decks the Noordfries offers her guests a modern, comfortable and intimate atmosphere.

But above decks there is also plenty to enjoy. This streamlined Tjalk is a fast ship and has won many prizes. You can choose to help the professional crew sail her or to relax on deck. Sailing the Noordfries is an enjoyable challenge both experienced and inexperienced sailors.

A trip with the Noordfries takes you through some of the most beautiful areas of the Netherlands, the Wadden Sea, IJsselmeer and inland waterways.
